Retrigger não é uma banda, é um cara só. Seu som também não se limita à Surf Music, muito pelo contrário. Ele faz breakcore usando elementos diversos de músicas antigas e, entre elas, muita coisa de Surf Music. Esse som lhe rendeu muitos frutos legais, como turnés pela Europa, discos lançados em 5 continentes, shows pelo Brasil, muito dinheiro, limusines, iates e essas coisas que você só consegue com a fama em seus níveis mais elevados.

Fu, que é o cara por trás do Retrigger, sempre esteve presente e atuante na Reverb Brasil. Fez parte dos Lava Jets e é um dos milhares de membros do Reverb All-Stars.

Este disco foi lançado em diferentes versões. Esta é a versão mais lançada pela gravadora francesa Ego Twister em 2008. Não espere uma música com ritmo marcadinho, guitarra com reverb, tudo muito bonitinho. Com o Retrigger, você vai ter ritmos quebrados e insanos, sonoridades bizarras e um dub do Slayer pra finalizar. Mas no som, você vai identificar, com certeza, os elementos da Surf Music que o influenciaram musicalmente.

Retrigger is not a band, it’s just one guy. And to say he makes Surf Music couldn’t be further from the truth. He makes breakcore with exotic and early rock influences, including Surf Music. This mix earned him international recognition, including albums released throughout the world, European tours, shows all around Brazil, lots of money, limos and yachts. You know, those freebies you get when you are blessed with international fame.

Fu is the guy behind Retrigger. He has always been active in Reverb Brasil. He was in the Lava Jets and is one of the hundred members of Reverb All-Stars.

This album was released in different versions by different labels around the world. This version was released by the French label Ego Twister in 2008. Don’t expect a surf beat, a reverb drenched guitar, a pretty and neat surf sound. Retrigger’s Jeanie & Caroline has insane and broken beats, weird sounds and a dub version of a Slayer song to close it. But beneath the mess you will find and recognise the elements of Surf Music that influenced him.
